Festivalprogram CODAdancefest21

CODA Oslo International Dance Festival is pleased to invite you to the festival October 20 – 30, 2021. The festival will traditionally aim to show performances with a wide selection of dance from the performing arts field.

October 20-30 this year there will be a festival again!

We warmly welcome you all to the opening of the festival, at Månefisken, Wednesday 20 October – with guest curators Ulf Nilseng, Anne-Line Lønnbu Kirste and Luke Pell.

This year’s title, “Superhuman“, gives associations to the futuristic and to artificial intelligence, but when we look around in 2021, we see superhumans everywhere: ordinary people surrounded by insecurity, who give everything in the front line, who see their dreams shattered, and who still manages to keep a hope of change alive. But where is the place of art in this landscape?

‘A superhumanistic work will make you feel – laugh, cry, tremble; to be overwhelmed by compassion ’Nicholas Treadwell, British artist.
