Contemporary

The Master class is a technical contemporary class for the attention of the professional dancers. The class will focus on the importance of the movement’s precision.

Guillaume Siard was a dancer at the Ballet Preljocaj from 2001 to 2006. He decided then to be more involved in the educational projects and became in charge of it, he was the rehearsal director of a 6 dancers group which performs some extracts of Angelin Preljocaj’s repertoire outside. He’s now the head of educational projects in charge of the development of the partnership projects. Siard is teaching contemporary dance and Preljocaj’s repertoire all over the world.

Guillaume Siard started to dance by a classical ballet formation in Tours (France) at the Conservatoire National de Région and also in Lyon at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse where he got a diploma for contemporary and classical dance in 1993. He danced at the Jeune Ballet de France, in the Denis Plassard’s company, at the Ballet du Nord and joined the Ballet Preljocaj in 2001.
