Contemporary workshop

Ty Boomershine has as dancer worked wit several artists as well as established companies, such as Dan Wagoner, Bill T. Jones, Merce Cunningham Repertory Group, Leine & Roebana and currently with Emio Greco | PC.
Ty has presented his own work in New York at Movement Research and the Dancespace Project and in Amsterdam at OT301.
As a teacher Ty has taught the companies of Krisztina de Chatel, Leine & Roebana, and Emio Greco|PC as well as Academies and professional studios.
Ty’’s class is based on the Cunningham technique focusing on rhythmic, spatial, and physical clarity combined with a sense of coordination and multi tasking through the body.

Sanna Myllylahti is an independent choreographer/performer from Finland. After studies at Danshögskolan in Stockholm and at the Theaterschool in Amsterdam, she has worked as freelance artist at Ballet Vorpommern og Folkwang Tanzstudio among others. As performing artist she has worked with Itzik Galili, Martin Butler, Keren Levi and Peter Greenaway / Saskia Boddeke In 1996 she won the Ineke Sluiter prize for her solo “ STILL ALIVE WITH THE FLOWER“.
Her latest solo performance “GETTING REAL (with or without Francesco) ” , was received with great enthusiasm in the Fullmoondance Festival 2007.
Ty Boomershine is from Columbus Ohio where he attended the Fort Hayes School for the Performing Arts.
He earned his Bachelors of Fine Arts degree at Stephens College, Columbia, Missouri.
