Hope Hunt and the Ascension into Lazarus

The performance “Hope Hunt and the Ascension into Lazarus” by dancer and choreographer Oona Doherty, performed by Sati Veyrunes, will take place both directly in front of the Astrup Fearnley Museum and inside the gallery. This performance sits at the intersection of physical theater, dance, and performance art. It manipulates and redefines the gestures associated with working-class masculinity in a quest for hope.

This performance is a collaboration between the Astrup Fearnley Museum and Dansens Hus.

In addition to “Hope Hunt and the Ascension into Lazarus,” Oona Doherty’s “Navy Blue” will be showcased at Dansens Hus on October 12th and 13th, serving as the festival’s opening performance of the year. Read more about “Navy Blue”
