Judith Arupa

Judith Arupa (Netherlands) started with dance at the age of 16 with hiphop. When starting her education at Fontys in the Jazz/Urban department she soon switched to Contemporary, meanwhile working with Helder Seabra (Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui & HelKa), Anton Lachky (Les Slovaks & Anton Lachky Company) and Filip van Huffel (Retina Dance Company). After graduating she moved to Norway where she was hired as an apprentice at Carte Blanche. Here she performed in several pieces such as the double bill We are here together, Jerada, While they are floating and the working process of Av Carte Blanche. At the moment she is based in Oslo where she just finished working with Nagelhus Schia Productions on the AMP (now known as NSP2) program.

Judith Arupa is a part of Creative Lab 2020-2021.
