HORDE
HORDE is a new performance by choreographers Ingri Fiksdal and Solveig Styve Holte in collaboration with costume designers Elnaz and Mahtab Gargari, and composer Rohey Taalah.

HORDE is a choreographic work that both through practical organization as well as artistic expression thematizes who can access art and artistic work, through the practise and performance of a complex and powerful artistic community.

Bio:

Solveig Styve Holte
Solveig Styve Holte (1984) is a dancer, choreographer, and research fellow at department of Dance at Oslo National Academy of the Arts from 2019-2025. In her choreographic practice all existing material and dance historical archive is given new bodies, corporeality, and different futures. Her research aims to broaden and challenge the understanding of authorship, history writing and intertextuality in dance and choreography. Holte creates performances for museums, galleries, theatre, and outdoor spaces, as well as in being in the editorial team for the three anthologies KOREOGRAFI (2016/2018/2021). She is based between Oslo and Folkestad, where she is working towards developing YKS, a choreographic centre.

Ingri Midgard Fiksdal
Ingri Midgard Fiksdal (1982) is a choreographer based in Oslo. In 2019 she finished a PhD in artistic research at the Oslo National Academy of the Arts, with the project Affective Choreographies.This research took shape as six performances and three books. Ingri´s work on affect has in recent years taken her into discourses on perspective and privilege. She is currently working on a numbers of projects addressing the intersection between the post-anthropocentric and the decolonial from a feminist perspective. Ingri is concerned with how practise and theory are entangled in her work in a way where neither is perceived as anterior to the other. From 2020, Ingri is an affiliated artistic researcher with the project CoFUTURES. Pathways to possible Presents led by Bodhisattva Chattopadhayay at the Unviersity of Oslo
