Workshop for blind and visually impaired

Kjersti Engebrigtsen, choreographer and special educator and one of the pioneers within Norwegian contemporary dance, will lead the courses for the blind and visually impaired. Kjersti Engebrigtsen has worked professionally with dance for 35 years and has in addition developed in-depth knowledge of visually impaired persons manner of approaching movement. In 1999 she completed a Masters of Arts at the Institute for Special Education and has worked with visually impaired young people and adults. In the autumn of 2004 she choreographed the production “Fragile”, a dance work for three dancers and one visually impaired performer.
