Workshop with Katarzyna Żeglicka

Sentralen

16. October - Kl 13.00

All moves allowed – body work lab Med Katarzyna Żeglicka

The lab aims to celebrate diversity in movement and voice. Together we will try to develop a safe space for the exchange of experiences and dialogue about different ways of expressing ourselves. During the lab, we will work on becoming aware of the places in the body that empower you, make you feel good but also help you to be heard /and seen/. It will also be a time to relax and laugh and shout without restraint.

The workshop will be an opportunity to:

  • become aware of boundaries and places in the body that strengthen you,
  • express yourself through various means of expression that match your abilities and interests
  • ask yourself how much space you need to feel comfortable but also respect other people’s space,
  • find ways to make yourself heard and seen,
  • discover stories of women who will inspire you to develop your own empowering and confidence-building stories.

Methods of work

During the laboratory, we will use exercises of body work (improvisation, authentic movement), breath and voice as well as site-specific art.

Participants

Persons aged 18 and older, women and transgender and non-binary people, regardless of their level of ability; people who are open to diversity and want to support it; for people who are not dance professionals
