Contemporary class

After his career as a dancer, Rasmus Ölme founded his group REFUG in Sweden (2001). Since then he produces his own work and teaches worldwide. In May 2014  he finished his PhD in choreography at DOCH. Since January 2015 he is the head of dance education at the Danish National School of Performing Arts in Copenhagen.

Ölmes working methods propose choreography as that which generates structures; that generates movement instead of structuring it.
