Cinematic Dance Performances

This panel discussion – a collaboration with the digital platform Vierlive – is dedicated to the subject of the digital opportunities and challenges that our field has faced both prior to and during the Norwegian lockdown. As various new opportunities emerged, we were also forced to “think digital” when working across borders.

What happens with live art when it is shown on a screen? What can digitalisation add to the ephemeral experience of dance – and the ongoing development of the art form?

Joined by a film director, a musician and a choreographer, we engage in a debate on how live art could be transmitted digitally (on screens) – and discover our panel’s thoughts on the future.
