Human Touch

IN THE OPERA HOUSE FOYER

In the Opera House’s large, spacious foyer, where audience members wander freely from one place to another, four dancers will meet in short dances. The meeting – the human touch – initiates the dance created on the spot: through site-specific contact improvisation, form and expression arise spontaneously in the moment.

Katrine Kirsebom is the artistic director of CODAImpro. With dance education from art colleges in the Netherlands, she has worked actively in the non-institutional performing arts of Norway for 20 years, principally with dance improvisation.
